Over the years our family has experimented with many different recipes for homemade bread. There were many times when making bread just seemed like a chore, and we resolved to buy prepackaged frozen bread from the grocery store.
It doesn’t take long to realize that, an effective menu planning budget requires some things must be homemade. I can’t possibly think of any better candidate than homemade gluten-free bread for this purpose.
One of the best parts of having a home made loaf of bread in your pantry is that you can slice it as thin or thick as you like. Making five or six sandwiches for lunches one day does not suddenly cost you a fortune in pre-made bread.
The True Advantage of Homemade Gluten Free Bread
Apart from the budgetary advantage, and being able to make two or more loaves at a time, the most rewarding experience of all is of course getting kids involved and having the kitchen smell like a home bakery… what wonderful memories for the next generation.
