Seductive Seared Tuna With Sauteed Shallot Recipe – The Fastest Gourmet Main Dish You’ll Ever Make

Impulsive Culinarian’s Seared Tuna Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Tuna Steak
  • Plenty of Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tbsp Dairy Free Margarine
  • 1 Shallot, peeled & sliced

Instructions

  • Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat
  • Season both sides of your tuna steak with a generous amount of kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • Add coconut oil to the hot skillet
  • Sear the tuna steak for around 45 to 60 seconds on each side
  • Using tongs, quickly sear all 3 sides of the tuna steak for around 5 to 10 seconds each
  • Remove skillet from heat and let cool for 1 minute
  • Add margarine to the skillet
  • Add sliced shallots to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally for around 2 minutes
  • Slice the seared tuna into 1/2 inch slices
  • Drizzle onions and margarine on top of the tuna and serve immediately
